My opinion:
My adventure with the work of Anne Bishop began by reading books of his trilogy, the Black Stones. I believe that they were really good and addictive product, and the stories contained in them absorbed me completely. Another book in the series - "Heart Kaeleer ", a collection of four stories, taking place in the world of the Blood, related to the events of the Trilogy, or taking place before these events. Despite my fascination with villains Stones took some time before I decided to reach for this position. All of this" collection of stories, " because it did not really gone for this form. But, as you probably noticed, recently more and more often I read these files, and my prejudices have disappeared completely. So the time came that I reached the end of Book IV of the Black Stones - "Heart Kaeleer.

But, as you probably noticed, recently more and more often I read these files, and my prejudices have disappeared completely. So the time came that I reached the end of Book IV of the Black Stones - "Heart Kaeleer.
In the first story - "Dream Spinner", Anne Bishop moved me in a very long time, and familiarized the genesis and origin of the magic stones. The story was very short, somewhat convoluted and not characterized by unusual for me. Frankly, I read it as soon as was possible, as quickly as possible to start reading the second story - "The Prince of Ebon Rih," whose protagonist was my favorite of the series of Black Stones, Prince eyrieński Warriors with Szaroczarnym Stone - Licivar Yaslana. The history included in this story taking place after the events described in the "heiress of Shadows" (second volume of his trilogy, the Black Stone). The story I heard, as in life appears Lucivara Marian, a young Eyrieńka, a simple homely witch, bearing purple dusk. The beginning of the story was very good and addictive. Has met all my expectations, but over time the story had become too monotonous. All the time has practically the same thing and I missed a spurt, an unexpected return. Instead, the action dragged slow pace, impossibly stretched. The story goes back about 192 pages from the middle and I just started to get bored.
My disappointment has passed, however, due to two consecutive stories. "Zuulaman", a story from the past SEAT, although it was not very pleasant, really curious about me, shrugged, and frightened. I could learn from it as a loving father was Seatan. However, it also showed how blooded and ruthless woman and mother was a terrible Hekatah.
In "Heart Kaeleer", the story ending the entire collection, the author presented a story that takes place directly after the events described in the "Queen of Darkness" (the third volume of his trilogy). Thanks to this story, I could learn the fate of Janelle and daemon, and how, what did the Queen in the last part of his trilogy, the Black Stone had an impact on her and her family. For extra flavor to me was that once again I had the opportunity to dance with a sadist.
While reading this book could once again move into the world created by Bishop Blood. This world, as in previous books, sometimes brutal and ruthless. Conspiracies and machinations, the pursuit of their objectives regardless of all and all, are on the agenda. However, in this dark dawn, there is also love, friendship, devotion and selflessness. The author very well intertwined all this in his books, creating a very complex and diverse world of heroes.
also deserves a hierarchy of Blood, which prevails in the Kingdoms. Women exercise power, men are and are surrounded by care. Where different laws apply, and the relevant protocols of court. A very large role in the culture Blood plays a sex, and behavior, especially men, are influenced by various instincts.
Another interesting element, occurring in the world of the Blood, are the stones, indicating the strength of a person. Each Blood on the innate power of Law receives the first stone, and when he makes a sacrifice of Darkness, is replaced by another, and its power can be increased by three levels.
Ms. Bishop has a really great ideas and knows how to write in a very interesting way. Attracts the attention of the reader, dosed appropriately share, very cleverly divides the content into individual chapters. Many times it happened to me to promise myself that I read only to the end of the chapter, and when he was finishing, I started automatically for the next. Sometimes just no way to break away from reading. So much happens plot-consuming. Bishop intrigues the reader and tempt him to effectively overturning the following pages.
Trilogy Black Stones fans do not have to recommend "Heart Kaeleer. Reaching out and not sure you can find here everything that the fascination with the trilogy , and more. People who do not yet know creativity Bishop invite you to read with her books, starting just from the aforementioned trilogy, and then to reach for the "Heart Kaeleer. I think that will not disappoint. And when it comes to the endorsement on the back cover that this is a book for adults - I agree with this, but I think for the young adults of the text there will not be particularly shocking.
My Rating: 5.5 / 6
