My opinion:
It is no secret (especially after my last opinion) that I like to read books Ms. Trudi Canavan. Although the plot of each book is sometimes too predictable, every single item to be unpleasant to read, which was read absolutely no regrets. When you have been given "Whispers children Fog and Other Stories", I was curious about how the author coped with such a short form.

In his collection of Mrs. Canavan posted five unrelated stories. The first three are happening in the worlds invented by the author is typical of the fantasy, the last two, in fact, like ours. Briefly about each story, a few words:

"Whispers children Fog - this is a story of a sore, a woman endowed with the power that traverses the dangerous desert caravan , ensuring its protection. One incident from her past has meant that doubted themselves and their capacity. Is there something or someone will make again regain self-confidence?

"Crazy student" - a story from the world of the Black Mage. The author presents the story lost in the madness tagine, who, using his power, unleashed hell in Kyralii. Several references on these events occurred earlier in the Black Magician Trilogy, and the "Mission of the Ambassador," so this story is a great explanation of what really happened.

"Markietanka" - Rena captain, who had many years of service is involved in another military campaign. Los placed in his way Kale, who became his markietankÄ…. But whether a woman is the one on whom it looks? Or perhaps conceals a dark secret?

"space for themselves" - I think everyone of us sometimes dreamed that night had more than 24 hours. We often lack the time to what we would still do it. And what would happen if we have to find a place where the present tense stretches, and past and future is in place? The answer to this question, she met the heroine of this story.

"Lost & Found Office" - the heroine left her umbrella on the train and wanting to get it back just goes to such office. Do you find there Sowia destruction? Do visit in such a place, full of lost items, will make in her life something unusual happen?

"Whispers children Fog and Other Stories" is really a very good collection and if I had to say what is his biggest advantage, I would say - DIVERSITY.

DIVERSITY presented in the worlds. Those with short stories, children's whispers mist 'and "Markietanka" until they ask for and deserve to be developed in the form of the novel.

DIVERSITY in the conduct of the narrative, which appears here in the third and in first person, and even a diary.

DIVERSITY shares at a pace which, in some of the stories are quietly moving forward, and some throws us into a vortex of events.

DIVERSITY heroes who, in any story, his attitude and personality, we have something else to offer.

DIVERSITY atmosphere prevailing in the individual stories, which sometimes inspires awe, sometimes curious, sometimes introduced in such a magical and mysterious mood.

It is diversity that makes this collection is so amazing.

Another interesting element of this set, which greatly pleases me, is a story attached to each Members. Sometimes a short and concise, sometimes a little longer, Ms. Canavan explained it, prompting her to write the story, why she wrote it in that style, and not in another style, when or under what circumstances an idea appeared. It's really good windfall of reading (especially for fans), when the author in the pages of his books calls directly to the reader.

Finally a few words about the issue, which rarely pay attention. I was always more interested in "content". In this case, it would be a sin, however, nothing in this topic did not write. In our hands, reaches for a slim hardcover book, with a beautiful picture of the cover. A paper? A miracle, honey and nuts. Thick, beautiful and wonderful to the touch. This is probably one of the best and most nicely published books, I had a chance to read it. In my opinion, this edition is a true gem, and garnish each bookcase.

conclude my speech short, succinct and to the point, do hereby proclaim to all and sundry-WORTH to read the set of "Whispers of children Fog and Other Stories." For loyal fans is certainly a great opportunity to meet Mrs. Canavan from the other side (it must be admitted that very well defended itself.) For those who have it yet do not know, reading this collection will be a nice way to change it. For me personally, this is probably the most interesting item Trudi've ever read.

My Rating: 5 / 6
